1. Introduction

PoinTeacher ("we," "us," "our") provides an AI-assisted platform that helps teachers, school principals, and foundations generate teaching modules (Modul Ajar) and assessments (Asesmen) for Indonesian K-12 education. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using PoinTeacher, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information from Google Sign-In: your name, email address, and profile picture, provided by Google when you sign in. We only request basic identity scopes (email and profile) — we do not request access to your Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, or any other Google Workspace data.
• School and profile information you provide: your role (teacher, principal, etc.), and your school's name, address, phone number, email, website, and logo, which are used to personalize the documents you generate (e.g. school letterhead).
• Content you generate and save: the teaching modules and assessments you create, along with the inputs you provide to generate them (subject, grade, topic, curriculum, character values, reference materials, etc.).
• Usage information: basic technical logs (such as timestamps and error logs) needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your account session.
• To generate teaching modules and assessments tailored to your school's context, curriculum, and stated character values.
• To save your generated content so you can view, edit, or re-download it later.
• To activate and manage your subscription plan (Starter, Guru Pro, or Sekolah) after payment is verified.
• To respond to your support requests sent via WhatsApp or email.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the platform.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data to serve advertising.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

To provide the service, we rely on the following third-party providers, each of which processes limited data on our behalf:

• Google Sign-In: for authentication (basic profile and email only).
• Google Gemini AI: the content you submit as input (subject, topic, curriculum, reference materials, etc.) is sent to Google's Gemini AI model to generate your teaching modules and assessments.
• Supabase: our database and authentication infrastructure provider, used to securely store your account, school, and generated content data.
• BioPay: our third-party payment processor, used to process payments for paid plans. We do not store your payment card or bank details ourselves — that is handled directly by BioPay.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure with access-control policies restricting each account to its own data. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Access, update, or correct your account and school information at any time from your Profile page.
• Delete individual modules or assessments you have generated.
• Request full deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 9).

7. Cookies & Session Storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember in-progress drafts while you are creating a module or assessment. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

PoinTeacher is designed for use by teachers, school staff, and administrators — not by students directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any student names or data that appear inside documents you generate are entered and controlled by you, the educator, and remain your responsibility under applicable school and data protection regulations.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
